Nina Opens as Erasure Ignites Atlanta Symphony Hall with the Violet Flame Tour

Andy Bell still knows how to impress the audience.

Erasure, the English synthpop duo, consisting of singer and songwriter Andy Bell and songwriter and keyboardist Vince Clarke wowed the crowd at Atlanta Symphony Hall on Wednesday, Sept.17.
Opening act Nina, the youthful torchbearer of electronic pop impressed the audience.  She was accompanied by Laura Fares on electronic drums.
Then it happened, Andy Bell took center stage in a glittery top hat of silver sequins, sunglasses and black, sequined tails. His voice sounded as soulful as ever, still doing justice to "Chains of Love," a song almost 30 years old.

Perfect lighting for the Violet Flame tour.

Vince Clarke mixes the electronic notes.

Singing to a full house.

Those lights, wow!

One word ... fabulous!
What a show ...
