Simply Cupcakes, Simply Delicious

Ever since I received two of the most delicious cupcakes I’ve ever tasted for my birthday, I’ve been hooked on Simply Cupcakes of Carrollton! Being a lover of food and frequent restaurant reviewer, I can say I’ve eaten many cupcakes, including Georgetown Cupcakes.  Simply Cupcakes of Carrollton is  the standard by which all cupcakes should be judged, period!  The cake is light, moist and melts in your mouth.  The frosting is rich and creamy, far from heavy and dense.

With over 70 flavors in the mix, I suggest you visit frequently to experience all of the goodness.  Red Velvet, the southern tradition, is sold daily.  Some of my favorites are German Chocolate Cake, Italian Cream,  Strawberry Shortcake, Rocky Top,  Wedding Cake, Princess Audry,  Pumpkin Spice, Black Tie, Cookies-n-Cream, Espresso, and Jalepeno Popper.  Yes, it is made with real jalepeno peppers and is topped with a fluffly cream cheese topping.  It’s the perfect finish  to a pot of chili on game day, and goes great with margaritas, too!

Speaking of football, Simply Cupcakes of Carrollton believes in giving back to the community.  Owners Tish and David Kilgore donate cupcakes to Central High School for the Friday Night pre-game meal, and gives a dozen to the guys in the press box, too.

Since ‘tis the season for giving, they will be giving away special gift basket this holiday season.  Each customer will receive a raffle ticket with purchase.  The drawing will take place on December 20th, limit one coupon per customer, per day.

Holidays are not complete without a delicious Yule Log.  From now thru Christmas, orders are being taken for special Red Velvet and Pumpkin Logs.

Tish, a busy mother of three, creates the recipes, does all of the baking, frosting and daily rotation planning.  David, a cross-country truck driver, is in the shop when not on the road.

The prices are reasonable, and the hours are as follows:

Mon - Thu:
11:00 am - 7:00 pm
Fri - Sat:
11:00 am - 10:00 pm
