Garbage released their sixth studio album on June 10.  Strange Little Birds is their first release in four years  and with an album comes a tour. Their Atlanta performance at the Tabernacle was a crowd-pleaser with a perfect mix of old and new hits. Shirley Manson of Garbage.

Kristin Kontrol - Kristin Welchez, Dee Dee from Dum Dum Girls - was the opening act.  Refocused and newly inspired, Kristin released X-Communicate, produced by Kurt Feldman and Andrew Miller, who played guitar on the first Dum Dum Girls album and joined the band in its last incarnation.
